skull buzzzzzzzzzz been rehearsing for the july dates, got a bunch of new stuff in the set. tweaking lyrics, planning, back-boning... the album is slowly coming together. mr tom dolby has been sending me his piano parts and they are stunning. he's got clever fingers. dr james trood has a few songs down, but was set back recently when he was involved in a car crash. he's ok though, his car isnt. alex from nitkowski is working on a song with me, and there is a special guest, who i HOPE will be singing on a song...i dont want to jinx it, so im sshhhing.
im halfway through writing album #6, and there is a chance i will be traveling up to scotland with ellis the dog rescuer to record it before the year is out...
the other day, i received a proof of 'Dot Dot Dot & other works' the lyric book I have been working on with nev bartos. it came out better than i had hoped. it will be out at the end of summer.
taking Venison into the studio in 10 days. very excited. we're gonna get three songs down, burn a million CDs, and leave them laying around.
the Love Among The Mannequins debut album, Radial Images is back from pressing... i have a box of CDs at the foot of my bed. it looks badass, and im proud as heck. we are hatching plans to tour soon, and probably start on another album.
no time for my day job.
